With nearly every irrigation system, there is at least one flower bed or part of the lawn that rotors don't reach or fit; this is when spray irrigation comes into play.
Spray irrigation is the second most common irrigation type. Sprays are gear-driven, pop-up sprinklers that spray a consistent fan of water up to 360 degrees with an adjustable nozzle. These are fantastic for covering any size flower bed due to the many spray nozzles available. Sprays are also great to use in
areas too small for lawn sprinklers to reach while supplying adequate water to your yard.
Although sprays are used in the yard, they should never be in the same zone as lawn sprinklers because sprays require less time than sprinklers and will overwater that portion of your lawn. So, whether you decide to use spray irrigation for your flower beds, yard, or both, you'll enjoy the results.
