The Grass is Greener on the Sod Side

An irrigation system is often useful, if not necessary, but the only thing that has an immediate appeal is sod. There are many different kinds of sod.

Each with a different look and each with different growth patterns. There are many purposes to sod. It is often laid for the purpose of an immediate eye appeal but is also used to hold the land. Sod is great for holding dirt, sand, and the like on flat or hilly surfaces, especially surfaces affected by rain or runoff. If sod is desired, an irrigation system is suggested prior to laying the sod so it is properly watered and prevents damage to the grass in the future. The saying, "Grass is greener on the other side...," is often said without the remaining phrase, "because of the manure." This holds true, but the only grass that is greener is irrigated sod.

We recommend sod on pallets in 1' by 2' slices placed in a brick pattern. Although it is a strenuous process, we love to lay sod because of the affect it can put on some ones lawn. We love to see a gorgeous full yard and the smile on our customers faces when the process is complete. So if you ever want to see it for yourself, give us a call and we'll be happy to get the job done.
